Oli’s Road

for Olivier

Who he was

My dad Olivier was one of those rare people who made everyone
around him feel like they mattered.

It didn't matter where in the world he was or who he was talking to — he always found a way to show up for people.

Not because he had to. Just because that's who he was.

He traveled his whole life. But what he brought back
was never souvenirs.
It was friendships.
Stories.
And a deep understanding that most of the world lives very
differently than we do — and that a small gesture
can completely change someone's day.

Sometimes their life.

The best way we know how to honor him is to keep doing what he showed us. My sister Thalie and I created Oli's Road in his memory. Not as a charity. Not as a campaign. Just as a promise — to show up for people the way he always did. Everywhere we go. For as long as we travel.

Why we created this project?

How it works

Every dollar contributed goes directly to locals we meet on the road.

A family. A small business. Someone whose story stopped us in our tracks.

Nothing is kept.

Every giving moment is filmed and shared publicly — so you can see exactly where your contribution lands and whose life it touched.

No organization taking a cut. No overhead. Just person to person.

The way my dad would have done it.

Not everyone was born lucky enough to grow up in a country like Canada. We didn't choose where we were born any more than they did. But we can choose what we do with that luck. This is our small way of doing something about it. One road at a time.

If this resonates with you — even a small contribution makes a real difference to someone, somewhere.

Every dollar in goes directly out. Every giving moment documented. Nothing kept.

Oli's Road is a personal giving initiative, not a registered charity. Contributions are not tax deductible. 100% goes directly to locals we meet on the road.
